My boyfriend and I went to iii folks last week for my birthday. It was a amazing experience our server fred was very friendly and attentive. I had the ribeye and my boyfriend had the ny strip both were cook to perfection. The ribeye was one of the best steaks ive ever had. The 6 cheese and off the Cobb cream corn were both delicious. I will definitely be going back to iii folks and recommending it to my friends .

Took a large group of clients to III Forks. A few had previously eaten at III forks and were eager for the return. Overall a great spot for entertaining clients or a nice evening dinner. The staff managed the service and delivery of food to our large party. I would add that my steak was very good but the side dishes and salads were fantastic. I would definitely return to III Forks for client entertainment or a special evening out.

Amazing service! I recently went with a big group to celebrate a friends birthday and our waiter Fred was great. All the entrees were yummy I ordered the roasted chicken it was really good it came with a red pepper sauce which I wasn't so crazy about but thankfully it was served on the side and also a big portion of mash potatoes that were pretty good. Usually when it's a big crowd the service is never that good but honestly amazing service. The only negative thing I can say is that they don't do separate bills. It just makes things more difficult when it's a big party. Definitely will be back !

Worst meal I've had in decades. Appearances are deceiving. This meal was worst than the buffet at the casino across from it. The lamb meatballs smelled. My dinner guest had under seasoned pork chops which she left most of it on the bone. Something I haven't seen in years as she is a bona fide foodie. I urge you not to waste your money at this restaurant.

Went to celebrate a friend's birthday. Reservations were made ahead so we were seated promptly. The ambiance was soothing, classy but casual attire is most appropriate. The seating area could be a bit more spaced out as it did feel a bit cramped and you could occasionally hear what was being said at the next table. In any event, our server was polite and did a good job of managing the table. The bread was warm and really good...perhaps they make their own. We weren't big drinkers so I can't say much about the bar but they seem have an okay wine by the bottle list....even though I wish the by the glass list had more options. The food was good and filling I had the scallops. My concern here was when I asked them to not add bacon to the meal the server said it was already made that way.....do they pre-make their meals? That would not be cool. The lobster bisque was delicious even though for the price it would have been great to see more lobster.... the spinach was very good as well. Portions were appropriate...everyone left stuffed. For dessert we got the chocolate cake ... can I say yummy! FYI, items are a la carte and most of the sides are served family style. Overall a good experience. A nice place to have a casual dinner with friends. Their signature is steak so next time I'll be sure to order it so I can share my thoughts. Happy dining!

The place was service was OK! at best . The steak was tender and flavorful the lobster mac and cheese was disappointing, the 6 cheese potatoes was very very good . The best part of our dinner was desert you must have the pecan cake WOW awesome. But overall the whole thing was not worth the price .

My husband surprised me with all of my friends and family with a dinner at 3 forks for my big 40! Not only did they accommodate all of us (25 people) but the waiters, servers, the manager were all very nice, attentive, and accommodating which made my birthday dinner extra special. The food was amazingly good. We had salad, sea bass, filet, salmon, cream of corn, potatoes, even the bread was delicious. I can't rave enough about this place and can't wait to come back again soon!! Thank you Kim for your excellent service.

Great steak. I don't usually like steakhouses but this place was really good. I enjoyed the lobster appetizer and the bone in rib eye. My waiter was also very good. Had a great wine with my meal as well. I won't give it 5 stars because I don't give 5 starts unless it blows me out of the water. The steakhouse was a 4.5 though if I would be able to give half a star. Great place if you want a steak dinner.

3.5 stars. Nice looking interior with a kind of upscale modern steakhouse look but lacks a bit of character and ambiance. Wait staff was reasonably good but was somewhat slow even though when we went there wasnt much of a crowd, probably 25% of the seats occupied. As far as the cuisine, we shared a 22 oz ribeye with oscar style hollandaise sauce on top, cream corn, and lobster mac and cheese and a $22 glass of cabernet. Overall the cost was $132 before tip. The steak is wet aged prime and it was pretty darn good on the first few bites but then it was just good. I think the oscar sauce was a little unimpressive as the crab was dry and the sauce part may have been just too little to add flavor to each bite. The cream corn was good but nothing amazing. The lobster mac and cheese was a disappointment, really dry in all respects. Saw this place on Check Please and overall it missed the mark for the price and expectations from the reviews.

I went to celebrate my mother's birthday at this place, we had two servers who started off nice. After picking up our glasses to serve bottle water, it was never brought until I reminded the server; he poured out waters after he brought other drinks and took the bottle away, a busser filled our glasses with tap water and I had to ask for them to change it because it was bottle water, after giving me some attitude they noticed that the server had taken our bottle away and brought a new one. We were never asked if we wanted appetizers so after waiting for a while, we decided to just order our main course. My bother and I had filet minion, I asked for a topping but that was not placed on my order or they forgot, I ordered a Caesar salad, minutes after the server came back and asked me what salad I wanted... For having two servers, the service was very poor and will definitely not be back.

I dined here tonight and everything was wonderful. The host was very accommodating because we arrived just before they were closing, nonetheless she happily seated my date and me. We sat in a booth in the room to the left, it was very romantic. I had the porkchop and my date enjoyed his flat iron steak. I love the peach sauce it was delicious. Our server Fred was wonderful. The entire staff was pleasant. At the end of our meal Fred brought out a HUGE slice of chocolate cake in celebration of our anniversary. Thank you to the entire staff for my our anniversary pleasant..

When we walked in the restaurant it was completely empty, it took 5 minutes for anyone from staff to pay attention to us. The waiter was friendly, although he didn't know if the establishment carried stella artois or blue moon and had been working there for 7 month and was unsure about a lot of the items we asked about. The food was good although it took a long time for it to arrive, especially for an empty restaurant. I would have gone back to III Forks if it wasn't for the way this establishment, more particularly the manager, handled the fact they overcharged me for well over $100 on the debit card I left at the time of payment. I called 20 minutes after getting charged and was told by our server he would figure out what happened and called me back, which never happened and no reply to my calls after that. Long story short the next day a "manager" named Kim called back and suggested that the problem was surely my bank holding an amount greater ($207) than the $90 i was charged for my tab. I'm not sure where that makes any sense. I had checked with my bank and that's not what I was told. Once i argued the problem could come from their merchant services Kim said he couldn't do anything about it and suggested to call my bank and dispute the charge.. Worst manager move i've ever seen in my life. He then went on the suggest the tip we left on the tab was too low for he's liking! Yea that happened. Then when I mention he should get more training he said he would not take this attitude and hung up the phone.... Still waiting for my money back....... This guy is a joke, i've been in the industry for over 10 yeas and have never seen a manager handling a situation like this, ever. To the owners: You have a fantastic place and a very nice staff but your manager Kim is bad for business. He's the reason I won't ever set foot in your establishment again.

I have been in a couple of these places. The one in Dallas is gigantic this one is more modern and smaller. Great wine room you walk between walls of wine, very cool. Sat in the bar which I do often, ordered a crab cake to start, light, good lumps of crab, very good flavor. I then had the III Forks salad, best salad I have ever had order it when ever I am in a III Forks. For dinner I ordered a small filet, Brussel sprouts, roasted potatoes and some of the cream corn, I was hungry, they gave me smaller portions on my plate so I did not have to pay for separate sides, very accommodating. Steak was perfect loved the Brussel sprouts ibam seeing them on many menus now. No room for dessert ate to much! They were not very busy, in fact the whole center the are located in was slow. I would say give them a shot, nice place good food.

The best rack of lamb I've ever had! Definitely get the cheese potatoes as well... So good! Not very accommodating to strollers, but they can seat you outside or in the bar area, just no strollers in the dining area.

We were seated right away and waited awhile before a server came. The staff was very pleasant and apologized repeatedly for the wait. We ordered the pepper steak, fried Brussels sprouts and mash potato.. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!

We went here for the steak because of some good reviews. My boyfriend really enjoyed the lobster bisque and bone in ribeye. It was exceptional. The scallops were too salty and only served with this "bacon jam" that was basically bacon bits with some kind of sticky syrup on it. I said the scallops were made for people who don't like scallops, because you couldn't taste anything more than salt and bacon. The reason for the bad review is the service. We are never going back to this place. First, they couldn't seat us in the dining area because of reservations. But, we saw tons of empty tables. Which means they don't have enough people working for them. That should've been our cue to leave. The hostess immediately walked away from us after saying there were open high top tables in the bar area so, we thought that meant to seat ourselves. Once we sat, we saw the same hostess seating another couple next to us. At which point, my boyfriend had to ask for some menus and told the hostess we thought we were supposed to seat ourselves. There were two waitresses for the entire room and one was doubling as the bartender. In short, it was a fiasco. Our waitress took so long to ask if we wanted an appetizer or anything at all, that we were ready to leave. The bread arrived almost 30 minutes after being seated. And almost everything we ordered was incorrect, on top of being incredibly late. We spent more than 2 hours inside the restaurant. For the prices they want to charge for the food I expect better service and I would expect them to hire people who actually have experience waiting tables. We paid $50 for the steak, that's in morton's and Ruth's Chris territory. I expect any person working at an establishment like that to have experience at their job, this waitress clearly had none. The room wasn't even full to capacity and she was struggling, badly. Anyone interested in going here should be warned... Steak is good but you have to go through hell to actually get it.

I went to III Forks last Saturday and was really impressed with my experience. I was a little hesitant because of the comments that are posted here but I decided to give it a try. I had a reservation for a party of 4 and my husband and I arrived before the rest of our guests. We were cordially greeted by Mariah the hostess when we arrived. She was very nice and polite. I got to sit in the room close to the door BUT it is beautiful, intimate booth with a wine cellar wall! Our server Pat was very attentive and took care of us all the time. He made great recommendations such as the Bone in ribeye which is extremely tasteful and my husband who doesn't eat red meat ate the Chilean Seabass and was really impressed with its flavor, the couple seating with us had the Filet Mignon which you can't go wrong very tender. By the end of the Dinner India, the manager, came by to the table and asked if we were enjoying our dinner and we mentioned we were happy to be celebrating an anniversary and they later surprised us with a Chocolate Ganache and a plate to celebrate. It shocked me that they went the extra mile to make it feel special. I really recommend III Forks, the price is right, employees are very courteous and the timing was perfect.

I have to say that the service at this restaurant was excellent. Our waiter was very friendly and he took the time to not only make sure that everything was ok, but to talk to us as well. He made the experience very enjoyable. It appears as though the emptiness of the dining room is a common theme. I went on a Saturday night and only 3 or 4 tables were occupied. The waiter did mention that the night before they were really crowded so maybe this was just a fluke. I ordered the New York Strip with a baked potato. The steak was above average although I have had better. The baked potato was a tad overpriced at $9. If I am going to compare this restaurant to top tier steakhouses, it just falls short. Once again, the service was fantastic. The food was just not up to par although they definitely are at the top of the second tier. We mentioned to the waiter that we were celebrating the sale of our condo and instead of even asking us if we wanted dessert, he brought us a huge slice of coocnut cake on the house. We were both shocked. Being that it is a steakhouse and the very expensive, I can't really afford to eat at these types of places except for special occasions. Will I come back here? Depends. There are better options for steak; however, I do like the atmosphere and the service was superb. It's a tough call.

Our waiter, Patrick was perfection! Service was flawless! The meal was just as good as it gets! We enjoyed every morsel....and the corn side was to die for! I loved the scallop appetizer....sooooo tasty! I had the III Forks salad and loved it. Steve had the one with tomato and cheese....aka caprese....he ate it but there was no moaning. The corn was to die for.....never in my life have I had any corn this delicious! I am a corn expert and to me, this was definitely 5 star....without question! Our filet mignons were yummy but I like a seared taste and this was not seared even though we requested a seared steak. Honestly, it was a beautiful evening! Definitely doing this again! Great date night! Wine selection was top shelf! Lindsay was GREAT!!!

Great steaks. Hostess at the door awesome. Other staff try hard. Lacks some finer points on service. We had a server asst who was pleasant but only saw him once in the beginning. Server used the term HEY GUYS which is really off base in a steakhouse of this caliber. Was a nice guy but don't lean on my table. Nice ambiance but definitely not a Mortons but close. The chef came out to the dining room...India and was very pleasant.

It was an incredible experience from start to end. My sister had been there before and she wouldn't stop talking about it. Now I know why. A perfect ambiance for a special celebration. Our server Patrick Madden and his assistants made sure we had an amazing time. We made reservations to celebrate my mothers Birthday. It was a private and elegant ambiance. Pat made sure that the children and teenagers had an amazing time as well. His personality really made us comfortable and reassured us we were about to have an incredible culinary experience... The wine was perfect, the appetizers were on point. The lobster bisque and crab cake were top notch. I had the 12 oz sirloin, others had salmon, pork chops, prime rib... The side dishes were incredible: mashed potatoes, 3 cheese potatoes, a corn side (can't recall the name. Delishhhh), artichokes, asparagus... All perfectly cooked, seasoned and served and just delightful... Finally: dessert. Pat brought a tray of 3 diff cakes with Candles for the birthday girl which we all shared. Yuuuummmmm! We had an amazing family time. Created a wonderful memory. III Forks is now a part of my family's events. Pass by... You will be marbled.

Wife and I were in town for her Birthday. Decided to celebrate at III Forks. Very glad we did. Our waiter, Pat, was a delight from start to finish. Food was great. Our steaks were perfect. Thank you III Forks for making this a memorable evening.

I LOVE THE FOOD HERE! I had the fried lobster to start & the bone- in rib eye steak as the main; with a side of Mac & cheese. Being that you receive so much food, I only can eat a couple of bites of my steak in order to have room for their bread pudding. Show up on time for reservations & it will save the wait.

I went with my boyfriend at the time who was trying to patch up our rocky relationship. He told me he'd take me to any place I like. My coworker recommended this place so we made reservations. I'm not much of a meat eater so I ordered the swordfish. He ordered the filet. He enjoyed his steak & my fish was decent. Although I didn't pay for dinner, I think they are way overpriced for ok tasting food. Not sure if I would go back.

I am new to this Yelp but I might as well write about fresh memories. Had dinner with my family two weeks ago and had a good time. service was good and the atmosphere was nice. Thought they had a good selection of steaks and seafood. Definitely be back again.

Kind of disappointed in my overall experience at this restaurant, so I won't be recommending it to anyone. There are better steak houses around-Try Ruth's Chris Steak house instead!...I made the reservation 2 weeks ago, via Open Table. I specifically noted that we were celebrating a birthday and preferably wanted a private room and if not, then an intimate table. Five days before the event, I called to confirm the reservation and checked to see if we could get a private room. I was told the private room was $1,000! Really??? So, ok, if that's there policy, I won't fault them for that, but they could have worked something out for us, like other restaurants do for parties over 6. Anyway, on the day of the event, I received a call from the restaurant calling to confirm...So, even though I already confirmed, I called back. They wanted to make sure we knew that since we were bringing our own cake, they would be charging a $2 per person service/plate fee...Ummmm...When my friend, who arranged for the cake called, shouldn't they have told her that at that time??? Also, we are a party of 10, which means that for our party, we are going to be spending at least $500! They want to nickel and dime us to serve us a cake that we brought??? So, fine, if that's their policy, we'll go with that. I checked again to see if we could get an intimate table. I was told that they have something in mind for us that would be sufficient. So, I was confident that they would honor my request. My husband and I arrived at the restaurant first and when we were taken to our table, it was a few steps away from the front door!! So much for an intimate table!!! On top of that, the cake was delivered and they put it out on it's own separate table, but did not cover it! So, it was sitting out, as folks passed by, to the point that the waiter even commented how impressed everyone was by the cake's design and took a picture of it! So, the cake that we were later to eat had folks standing over it, breathing over it, and talking over it, uncovered???? So, not sanitary!!!! Then, the rest of our party of 10 arrived, so before we ordered we asked the waiter if we could have separate checks(5 couples). He said they don't do separate checks, but we could do separate payments. That seemed odd, but again, if that's their policy...So, after the meal we were brought one check. That meant that we had to sift through how much each couple owed. You can imagine the confusion with such a long itemized bill! The birthday guy got so frustrated, he just paid the entire check with his credit card! He said that was much easier than trying to go through such a long bill! The bill was over $500! Really? Would it have been so difficult to give 5 different checks as many other restaurants do??? I have been to many fine dining restaurants, as well as cheaper chain restaurants and they all do it! I think it is just pure laziness not to! As for the food...No one was completely happy with their meal. One friend ordered a flat iron steak and they brought out tenderloin tips with mashed potatoes and asked who ordered it? No one answered, so the server asked again. My friend said that she ordered a flat iron steak, but no one ordered tips. The server then gave her the plate with the tips. So, she asked if this was a flat iron steak and she was told, yes! We knew it was not a flat iron steak, plus there was a difference in price between the flat iron, which was less, and the tips. Instead, of just admitting they made a mistake, they were satisfied with serving her the wrong order!!! So lazy!!! Poor customer service all around! Another friend ordered the rack of lamb, which came with 4 lamb chops. 3 out of the 4 were well done, as she asked, but the other was rare! Now, they told us that our meal took so long because of the time needed for the rack of lamb to cook, yet it still wasn't cooked as ordered!! Two people ordered salmon, one enjoyed theirs and the other said hers was not cooked properly. I ordered the vegetable ravioli and it was ok, but nothing to rave about. There was barely any cheese on it and the sauce used was sweet tasting...Different, but I've had better! The best thing on the menu was the sweet potato hash! It tasted like sweet potato casserole that you would eat during Thanksgiving! Again, if you want a good steak house, go to Ruth's Chris Steak House. It can't be beat! This was my first time at III Forks and I won't be back! First impressions... UPDATE: I'm changing my review from a low rating to an average rating. My experience above was low, but I went back and had a better experience, due to the manager. He noted my disappointment the first time around and made sure his people improved the service overall for our second visit!

Drinks- on my recent trip the bar was out of many of the ingredients they use to make a few of the lll Forks signature cocktails. Disappointing. Staff- still pleasant with the exception of a gruff manager. Manager alone is enough for me to steer clear of lll Forks.

Okay at best. The restaurant itself seems very large for the crowd we saw when we were dining. The inside is dimly lit with glass cases of wine splitting the dining room and the more casual dining area and bar. We opted to sit outside. Our waitress was good, but a little forgetful. She disappeared to get our drinks and then came back and re-introduced herself as though she had not been to our table. It was a definite Groundhog Day type of moment. Onto the food, I ordered a wedge salad to start, the usual chunk of lettuce and all the fixin's. For the main course we both ordered the 8 oz. filet mignon, and they were cooked as we had asked. I found it interesting when they brought the steaks we were asked if we wanted the chef to cut the center for us. Maybe I haven't been to enough steak restaurants but that was a first. Is it to avoid the awkward back and forth between the diners and server if it's not cooked properly...? I have no clue. To be honest the best part of our meal were the 6 cheese potatoes which are an au gratin style of potatoes smothered in cheese. Clearly they were delicious. Everything is a la carte and the sides are pretty standard for a steakhouse. For the amount we paid for our meal I'd be more inclined to dine at another steakhouse chain like Morton's or Ruth's Chris since that's what this restaurant closely resembled.

Three Forks! Unfortunately empty this evening. It's 7:30 and there are three tables occupied. We ordered the Three Forks salad consisting of mesculin lettuce maytag bleu cheese and pecans. It was very tasty . We had two order two salads to feed three people. Our entrees were the flatiron steak and the double cut pork chop. Both were cooked to perfection. We ordered the asparagus as a side dish. They were plentiful and delicious. Our servers were excellent. Prices are high here and most dishes are alacarte. Ended meal with a delicious espresso!

Amazing how clueless a place of business can be. Tried going to new Rok Bgr but it was not open yet. We reluctantly said let's try III Forks. Boy what a mistake. Ordered drinks and a bottle of wine and dinner at 7:50 pm. The white wine was hot. After an hour all that was brought to us was bread. Upon asking waitress where our salad was, she said they were firing the food. What? Then we asked for the manager who instantly showed off her cluelessness when she said she was sorry because they had two private parties. Excuses, really, my money does not equal theirs? Totally unacceptable. Then she proceeds to tell us that her GM was there and we asked her to get the GM. We wait 5 minutes for her to come back and tell us that the GM wanted us to leave our number. Yeah right. To add double insult to injury, an unprofessional, chicken, nonconfrontational GM, ha, then the manager has the gall to bring us a bill for the cocktails. We paid and will never return. Do not ever go here and waste your time, there are other places to dine at that want your business

Very disappointed !!! 2 hrs and 20 min wait for the third course to be served . The check had more than what we asked for ! There was a $12 dessert and a $3 juice we never had and they were charging for it. DO NOT GO !!

Dined there last night and it was a disaster from start to finish. Salads are not great, for $10.00 I expect to be impressed, in addition they do not offer a basic green salad which is crazy. We ordered one filet to share and a burger, told the server no added salt on the food, after listening the server explain their version of temperatures for the meat we ordered the burger medium well and the filet medium, needless to say they were all under cooked, additionally the amount of seasoning added to the meat and veggies was overwhelming especially considering we ordered them plain. After sending back the steak the other two ordered burgers, exactly the same way and both medium, one came out well done and the other was perfect except for the fact that the bun was literally frozen. No manager to the table sums it up for me, they want to charge the high prices but don't want to back it up with the service and food. My advise, stay away if you want a steak go to Morton's down the street, if you want to stay at gulfstream go to Christine Lee's.

Pretty good. The bone in rib eye was to die for! It was cooked to perfection. The lobster mac n cheese was AWFUL and the creamed corn was wayyyy too creamy. But everything else was pretty good. Great presentation and very nice and attentive waiters.

This place has so much potential with great steaks but it lacks quality service. From the moment my friend and I arrived it was visibly noticed by all. We had a party of 8 and it seemed to be too much to handle. The waiter couldn't get anything right. He even screwed up the table water amongst things. Service was also extremely SLOW... guys were yawning while waiting for food. This process took almost 4 hours to eat, on a not so busy night. Shoot, it took almost 50 minute to bring entre out after we were given our streak knives. We didn't order desserts for fear of being there another hour. As far as the steaks go, it was quality prime beef with good taste, however they were served cold. I wouldn't recommend this place unless you have a lot of patience and time.

Great service, food was excellent, the hot bread was a big plus, the tuna appetizer presentation was so nice too bad I forgot to take photo. Fred seem to be working every tables, he was everywhere, the manager was walking around to make sure customers were please, and as we were celebrating 50 years of marriage the following day, they sent us a piece of the best chocolate cake, normally I cannot have chocolate but it was worth getting some stomach pain, as it was sooo good. Thank you III Forks for great food and service

Went here for Valentine's Day - a big mistake. They shortened up the menu to handle the crowds. I also noticed there were guests in the restaurant that probably wouldn't normally come here. The service and the food were still excellent which makes me believe on an off day this place would rock. Funny side story here. The man sitting across from our table got really drunk and the girl he was with left him midway through the meal. At first he just laid down in the booth and put his feet up, then he started bothering a woman across from him. Classy. Please don't let people like that into your restaurant again.

We visited III Forks on 12/28/2013 and we couldn't be more disappointed. The only pleasant part of our meal was getting our appetizers, but unfortunately, it all went down hill after that. We ordered the Lobster Bisque, which was quite good. After that, more than half and hour went by without our mains (both steaks). When they finally arrived, they were COLD. Evidently, they spent lots of a time at the window waiting for our inefficient server to come and get them. The icing on the cake was getting our side orders when we were done with the steaks. They went straight back to the kitchen. I think what makes it an extremely disappointing experience is that fact that our server didn't care a bit about the bad service, not even an apology. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, definitely not worth your money.

Very disappointed in lll Forks and will never recommend to anyone and never go back. Word of advise from someone who's been in the business for close to 20 years. My steak was finally done to my request after having to send it back. My dates scallops were undercooked after he requested them to be seared and well done. The mushrooms were not prepped right. The bottom stems were not cut so they were tough and uneatable, plus they had onions in them which was not mentioned on the menu. Just wanted mushrooms!! The asparagus had slivered almonds on them which was not mentioned on the menu. A lot of people are allergy to nuts, so I suggest not to add these unless you put it on the menu. Not one to complain, but for prices so high, one would expect a quality produce.

NOT IMPRESSED. Not even a little bit. I used valet for the parking. They had a problem with my opentable reservation and could not check me in. They had me cancel it and redo the reservation in order for me to get my points. I feel like it's a restaurant posing as an upscale restaurant by going through the motions. Everything was average. Just Ok at best. Lobster bisque was warm but not hot. When I mentioned it to the waitress she said " oh they must have served it from the top without stirring it" huh? the rest was either bland or just ok. Not memorable. Not going back.

Came on a Tuesday night around 6pm and there weren't many people. However, at around 8pm the tables were pretty full. Our waiter was excellent. Very knowledgeable about the food and wine. PROS: Appetizers: The scallops wrapped in bacon was amazingly good :) Seared tuna very fresh and delicious Entree: Filet mignon (ask for the peppercorn sauce) - buttery soft and tasty Lamb chops - delicious CONS: Creme brulee = not creamy enough. Go with the bread pudding instead. The dessert menu is very limited and not very appealing. Overall, it was a pleasant meal. It's a beautiful establishment and I would definitely be back to taste other dishes.

Seems like a lot of the ppl on here were saying exactly the same thing about having great service but bad food. My friend and I went here last night to celebrate her bday, she called the day before to make reservations as she normally does for any other restaurant. As soon as she got there, the host automatically said "oh you're the one that made the reservation" before my friend even in fact said she had reservations. My friend then asked how did she know, the host then said because no one ever makes reservations to make here. When we were seated I was telling my friend about the reviews on this place and how I heard it wasn't all that, our waiter than walked up and over heard the convo and actually felt the need to comment and tell me that their food is in fact great and that their steak is usually marinating for 28 days before their actually cooked and served. Its funny how he was saying that their steak is so great and so forth and how its beyond tender and cooked to perfection when the guy at the table next to me was complaining how his steak was to "TOUGH"! Lmbo! The prices are ridiculous and everything on the menu is a la cart, which means everything comes separately and you're charged separately for every lil single item that you order. If you wanted steak you'll then get the steak with nothing to go with it, just plain by it self. No rice, no fries, no veggies. You'll have to pay extra for all of that. WE WALKED OUT AND JUST WENT TO ANOTHER RESTAURANT AND GOT OUR MONIES WORTH!

This is one of my favorite steak houses. The atmosphere is beautiful and the service is second to none. The food there is always delicious and the servers always make sure everything is to your liking. I have been coming here for the past two years and am never disappointed.

Let me start by saying I gave it 1 star because I had to. This restaurant does not deserve any stars. It should be called Ill (ill) Forks instead of III Forks. My husband ordered a burger cooked medium. When he cut it in half the burger was raw. It was so raw the meat stuck to the fork. He returned it expecting a new burger like most restaurants do, not at III Forks, they bring him back the same burger. This time it was over cooked and half the size of the original burger. We called the Manager over and asked why he was not brought out a new burger and he was told they do not do that there. I am sorry, but I have never been to a restaurant that does not bring out a new burger. We order a cheese plate that was absolutely horrible!! The blue cheese chips have no blue cheese on them. The Manager was absolutely RUDE!! Do not waste a meal at this restaurant.

Not impressed at all! Save your money for another place. The food was mediocre. Cost is not up to par with the food. Yard house is much better across the way and less expensive. . The only good thing was, the waiter was nice. That's all. Oh, I was up all night with an upset stomach.

I used to do a radio show on food and was lucky enough to be sent here as a secret supperer, about a year ago. I was impressed all around. The service was exemplary. I sat in the lounge area and started with the house signature martini and then enjoyed a bottle of red. The food was great and cooked to perfection. I loved the fresh tomatoes that they bring by the table, too.

After reading a few review I was reluctant to go here. After being suggested by our concierge at the Marriot I decided to take my Girlfriend there for her birthday. We had a reservation for 7:30 but arrived early to check it out. It was a Thursday night and when we arrived they said that we could be sat right away if we wanted because our table was ready. Very happily we took them up on it because we were starved. They sat us in a nice rounded booth in a quiet room and then we were approached by our server, "Dang". My Girlfriend Heidi and I were very happy with him. They didnt have the first bottle of wine that we asked for, but he quickly referred us to a bottle that was not only in our price range, but that complimented our tastes perfectly! After enjoying some lobster bisque and some great bread we were looking for some Surf n Turf (Heidi's Fav) and taking our waiters suggestion again we shared a 12oz filet and 8oz lobster tail with a family portion of asparagus all of which were AWESOME! This is my girls favorite meal and she said that this is now considered her BEST FILET EVER!!! TY III Forks! After the main course we shared a great piece of cheesecake which was personalized with a Happy Birthday Message for Heidi! So great! To top it off the GM/Chef (Dennis) came out to see how everything was and say Happy Birthday! IT WAS A PLEASURE DINING AT III FORKS and you would be a fool not to check it out when in the area! WE WILL BE BACK!!!

How is this only 3 stars?? Ate their two nights in a row as I couldn't believe how good the filet was the first night. Even better the second night and best steak I have had in a year!

"One simply cannot fairly review a restaurant on opening night." I second that as our opening night experience was so bad the Mgr comped our entire meal. With that good faith in the air now 6 weeks later on a Packed Florida Derby weekend we thought we would give it another shot. 9PM Reservation via Open Table and arrived at 8:55 place was packed bar and restaurant but our table was ready and we were seated right away no bar tab to add here. Waiter was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable and from start to finish spot on. Everything ordered this time was outstanding List of appetizers and items below. Seafood Medley Shrimp Cocktails (2) Two Filet Mignon with Gulf Shrimp Specials Bone in Rib Eye 16 Ounce NY Strip Sides Asparagus, & Creamed Corn Two good bottles of wine Bottom line this is what I come to expect from the Dallas chain that I enjoyed. They have their act together their prices are fair and we enjoyed the dining experience from start to finish - I will return!

I had the filet which was excellent. My wife had steak and salad and she was underwhelmed. Great service but a little pricey. I'd go back as I'm in this area quite a bit.

This is one of the restaurants in a new mall-area of the casino grounds. My first visit was with a fixed menu. While the food was OK, it wasn't great. I found the steak rather fatty and firm. The salad and dessert were good. The restaurant was fine, but not outstanding in any way.

Located at the Village at Gulfstream Park, we arrived a few minutes late for our reservation, however getting seated was no problem as there were more than a few open tables. Our waiter Johnny literally seemed to be twittling his thumbs as we were being seated. One of the first things you notice is the huge wine selection, the second is the healthy prices on the menu, which is why it struck me as odd that Johnny gave us a small problem when we requested to taste a certain $42 bottle of wine prior to selecting it. He actually made a point of having to get approval from management first... didn't exactly leave us with the feeling that they would be eager to please on our special occasion. Sadly I was right. Johnny is one of those talky rather flamboyant servers that sometimes does not know when to back off. He was very pushy in getting us to place our orders upfront... as if he was more concerned about turning tables... remember, this place was NOT nearly packed. We were compliant although we specifically requested that the food not be rushed. Our request was ignored. The seafood medley, the salads and the soups were all brought out at the EXACT same time! Now I'm not one to send things back, in my mind it mars the experience; however, we did take care to caution Johnny not to start the steaks too early, we really were in no hurry. RUSHED service aside, I must say the food was quite good. The French Onion soup was superb. The wrapped scallops perhaps the best I'd ever had, although you are only served one with the medley. The lobster Bisque started off good but became quite salty as I finished the dish... I thought that was strange? Our entree's arrived not long after. I immediately noticed that my specific request to replace the rice with steamed vegetables on my Atlantic Salmon dish had not been honored. My guest commented, perhaps the veggies would be brought as a side, confirming to me that my request was made clear. Not that the confirmation was necessary since Johnny had gone out of his way to note that there would be a $2 surcharge for my preference. This struck me as chintzy, but again, I'm not one to complain. Well when they were finished serving I politely asked "Joanne" about the mixup by informing her that I had requested mixed veggies in lieu of rice. Her immediate response was "that can't be right" as if I was lying! I was like, "excuse me?", she proceeded to explain in a rather rude tone, why I must have been mistaken. Now remember, my order was not placed through Joanne, so I have no idea what prompted her to challenge me in that manner, but her tone embarrassed me in front of my guests, so I quickly said, "you know what... don't worry about it... Its just rice." in an attempt to diffuse an unnecessarily tense situation. Now I performed a quick calculation and realized that I would be paying about $250 for this meal, so I won't lie, I had already developed a bad taste before even starting my entree. Perhaps that explains the distinct taste of too much salt on the Salmon? My guest had the 12 oz. filet mignon topped with blue cheese, but they were rather stingy with the blue cheese. The fried lobster tail was excellent. The creamed corn had a strong rather sweet flavor that I enjoyed (it helped cut into the taste of salty Salmon) and the spinach was firm and rich in flavor. Just out of curiosity, I felt compelled to ask Johnny if he remembered my request to substitute the rice for veggies.... Clearly Joanne had made no mention that there was a slight problem. Not surprisingly, rather than offer to fix it immediately, Johnny challenged me as well! Forcing me to remind him that he even made the point of insulting me with the $2 surcharge thing --- he finally acknowledged his mistake, after a few weak excuses and offered to buy me dessert. But even that offer seemed laced with insincerity... making me feel like I was just being difficult. I politely declined his offer. I won't lie, the less than stellar service put a damper on our meal and made it less likely that we would ever return to 3 Forks. I paid for the $250 meal and even graciously tipped 15% (something I am generally opposed to doing in the face of clearly weak, rushed and particularly unmotivated service). As we were leaving and I was waiting for my guests, the hostess asked how everything was, I noted that the service could have been better and was perhaps a bit rude. She looked me right in the eyes and said, "well that doesn't sound right." I said you know what, it wasn't right and I asked to speak to a manager. I shared my concern with the Asst GM (Pete), who did seem sincerely concerned with my issue and offered to do something to make it right. I simply advised, on a $250 meal, if your patron prefers steamed veggies to rice pilaf, for God's sake, don't argue with them, just make it right!

I was looking forward to eat here because it was highly recommended by co-workers. Our reservation was on a Thursday night 8:30pm, not a busy evening at Gulfstream Park so the place was 50% full. I chose this steak house for our business dinner and expected the food and service to be top notch from looking at the price of the entrees. The greeter / host was from the kitchen (she was wearing a dirty apron), there was no bartender on duty so we had to wait 10 - 15 minutes to get a drink before we got seated. Our waiter was very kind but forgot which order belongs to when food arrived. It took him 4 times to get the correct plates to the right person. He forgot topping for my steak so he immediately went back to the kitchen and "just topped it off". Here comes the worse part - 2 of us ordered medium filet mignon but it was cooked UNEVENLY. The left side of the steak was crunchy crusted over well-done and half way to the right was medium rare! This is unacceptable if you are paying $45 - 60 steak! The only thing that was good was the Bacon Wrapped Scallops app. I tried to make up an excuse to give the benefit of the doubt - "hmm...maybe we came there late?" - but its no excuse to mess up a steak. Needless to say, I refuse to dine here ever again after the experience. One more thing, this restaurant is considered fine dining but why where they showing swimsuit / bikini girl videos at the bar / lounge area while business people, romantic couples and women were dining? If we wanted to go to a strip club, Dean's Gold is very close to the area....we probably would've gotten better service there :)

The III Forks salad is the only dish that keeps this place from getting 1 star. The waiter wasn't attentive, and we pretty much had to beg for attention. The filet mignon was beautiful, but it had no flavor. The side dishes were forgettable. The salad was good though- if you are going restaurant hopping, maybe stop in for a drink and salad in the pretty decor- the slices of apples, blue cheese, and maple pecan vinaigrette really work well together. But go somewhere else for good steak and service.

I'm not a huge fan of spending $100+ for a dinner but this place is very good. Been a couple of times now. The waitstaff in a restaurant of this price range will make or break a review in many cases. In my case, the waitstaff were very good both times. I guess because of the price you expect really good service and we definitely got it. As for the food, I felt the NY strip was very good. We also had a sampler with scallops, shrimp, ect. And it was excellent. Same for the bread pudding for dessert. I've been to a few steakhouses and the steak I've had here is my second favorite, and my favorite in Miami.

Delicious. Started off with a caesar salad and fantastic warm bread. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. Atmosphere was relaxing and comfortable. Decent wine selection. I had the beef tips as my entree with mashed potatoes and it was excellent. Prices were a bit high but sometimes it's worth it for a great meal.

A great selection of steak and seafood at this chain. The new gulfstream park needed a big time restaurant and settled for this. I enjoyed the special fish of the day, which was parmesan crusted black cod. It was done to perfection and should have been for $41.95, WOW. The dish came with mashed potatoes and I asked to substitute with wild rice, which they happily agreed to accommodate, for an additional $2.95. WHAT the FORK ? OK, call me a BIG time cheapo but after a $100 plus bottle of wine and ordering a $42 "fish" special - REALLY you are going to charge me $2.95 extra for rice in place of mashed potatoes - really? REALLY? Anyway, we enjoyed dinner and the manager came over and asked how our dinner was - obviously the waitress told him that we laughed at the $2.95 up-charge for the change from potatoes to rice. He explained that this is the way they role - but for us no charge. We thanked him and kissed the ring, enjoyed the rest of the vino and agreed never to return. Keep your mashed potatoes, we don't need no stinking tourist trap.

We came here on Saturday night because I was craving a good steak. It is a fairly small upscale steakhouse/seafood restaurant within the Gulfstream. We were seated (with a reservation) at 8:30PM. It took fifteen minutes just to have someone come and pressure us to order one of those $12 bottles of water. The menu mostly consists of high end cuts of beef - Filet Mignon - in two sizes (I ended up having the 20oz.) Prime Rib, NY Strip etc. All sides are a la carte. We had the cheesy potatoes and split a Cesar. The servers seemed disorganized and the place is understaffed. The quality of the meat made up for the long periods of waiting between ordering. My Filet was AMAZING. They threw together a little chopped tomato and onion just to appease the fact that nothing was on the plate but the meat. The wine list was fairly limited - especially due to the fact that when you walk into this place there are clear glass wine walls that form a hallway all the way to your table. Not a bad place but overrated. Great steak - my friend had the Prime Rib which she loved. Everything was slow - and we ended up pouring our own wine after the first glass. I probably won't go back, but the food is uber rich and decadent if you are in the mood for an upscale steak house without much fanfare. Not great not bad. Needs some work. We still had a good time.

This is the second time I have dined at iii Forks. It was much better than I remember from the past. I had the bone-in ribeye steak and it was cooked to perfection of my request. The sautéed spinach was delish and the creamed corn was dynamite. There are a lot of great restaurants in this area, but I will go back again. Great service and ambiance. I didnt order wine, but it appears they keep at least several hundred bottles on hand.

I say 4 Forks! Quiet, dark old school feel. I'm not a prime rib gal, but there's was veryyyy good! Good service. Great marketing by giving Bloomy's account holders gift cards or we may not have ever come.

Everything was wonderful!! Came here with a large group for a bachelorette party. We sat at a high top table in the bar area. The food was lovely, we had a great bottle of wine and excellent service. My only complaint was that I was cold and as soon as I mentioned it, they made the restaurant warmer. So in the end, no complaints, just perfection. Steaks were great! The Ahi Tuna appetizer was to die for as were the crab cakes and shrimp cocktail. At the end we were all fighting of the bread pudding. Yum, yum. Thanks!

birthday dinners...birthday dinners take you lots of places- hence our visit to III forks. actual rating: 2.5 i expected more from this place. the decor and ambiance are misleading- in terms of the food, i mean. i had the salmon salad which was delicious. delicious until about half-way through eating it when i realize the middle of my salmon was raw. pink, gooey, unappealing and RAW. i couldn't eat anymore. fred "the cry baby" g. had the prime rib sandwich which was quite possibly THE BLANDEST SANDWICH MY TASTE BUDS HAVE EVER TOUCHED. III forks is overpriced for the quality of the food. oh, and the food took pretty long to come out.

We went on a Saturday afternoon, so it wasn't so busy. Waiter was curteous and eager to please. Mojito from the bar very good. Scallops wrapped in Bacon were perfect. The III Forks Salad was very good, interesting dressing. I had the Shirmp platter. It was OK, but the shrimp were battered AND deep-fried, in my opinion that's too much for shrimp, unless you're trying to conceal it. The homemade chips (also fried) were overkill. MASSIVE side dish of asparagus were undercooked by about 2 minutes. They hadn't cooked enough to bring out the flavor. I took it home and re-heated (re-cooked) it and it was perfect. Partner had the Sirloin Tips with Mashed Potatoes. They were VERY good. If you're looking for an All-American Steakhouse when Morton's is full, this is a great place. But not if you're looking for something special.

We came to III Forks for dinner several nights during our stay in S. FL. We miss it already. The filet was cooked to perfection every time, the 6 cheese potatoes are to die for, cob cream corn is fantastic, the III Forks salad is amazing, onion rings are huge (ask for half order) and the wine selection was dangerous (in a good way)! We've recommended this place to several people staying at our hotel and looking g forward to trying the other locations around the country. Wait staff remembered us after the first visit and had a good time and laughs with them all. 5 stars for sure.

I'm so surprised to see the ill reviews on here for this place- given that it's a chain and that there are a ton of steakhouse in the surrounding areas, I could understand how this is your average place, however I visited here right after they had opened and couldn't have been more impressed and happy with my meal. I was on business and felt totally comfortable sitting in the bar and enjoying a delish medium-rare burger and a couple martinis. It was a nice end to an otherwise busy day. As the night progressed, it def. got more crowded and was totally seasonal, which is to be expected in this neck of the woods in March. I would totally comeback down here again, no questions asked.

One word to describe this place "CLUELESS". If you read my reviews im usually upbeat when it comes to dining. However I have a sour face when mentioning this place(as if I just bite into a lemon)! I have been wanting to dine here for months to have a change of pace from my norm on south beach and now regret the long haul to NOWHEREVILLE lol. It was an early friday night dinner maybe 7:30 and not many tables occupied so I felt that was great when we walked in. We were seated at the both pretty quickly and began our wait for the waiter. Over the course of 10mins we had 3 busboys come to out table asking about water! Assuming one was our waiter I proceeded to tell him what I wanted as a starter. He said that he wasn't the waiter & they had to locate him. wtf? 15mins & no waiter. Finally "a" waiter shows up & says he will fill in for "missing waiter". We start with our drink order. I wanted a remy martin straight with rocks on the side. It came back as "remy martini shaken" in martini glass. So I sent it back. Then it came back as "same drink in scotch glass" lol sent that back as well. finally I had to explain I want remy straight out the bottle into a snifter with rocks on the side! Ok now its correct! Whooooaaa not going so well. Finally our app came & the bacon wrapped scallops were delish! Im thinkin maybe they have redeemed themselves! Yaaaay. Next course we ordered entrees. My salmon smelled great, looked great, took my 1st 4 bites & im in heaven! but when I started to eat it past the 5th bite I noticed that most of it was still alive on my plate! So in order to not complain so much I ate the other 3 bites from the opposite side of the fish. Now im pissed that I cant enjoy my whole meal. Ending goes like this: waiter comes back ask how everything was and I explained my disappointment & told him he needs to do some form of correction "take off the bill". He says he will speak to manager.he comes back minutes later & offers dessert or drink. Ummm no! we need to see a manager! He runs along & comes back & said the manager said bcuz I ate half the salmon he cant take it off the bill and he cant come to our table bcuz he is busy! Ummmm excuse me? Too busy with 8 tables occupied in a restaurant? Wtf! So I asked a bus boy after waiter disappeared to locate the corperate phone number for me. He also disappeared. 5mins later the waiter comes back with my entree taken off the check. I still insisted on having the corperate phone number! Then what do u know now the "asst mananger" appears faster than a speeding bullet! He asked the prob & I informed him about our terrible experience. I told him about how my fish wasnt edible & he tried defending the chef by saying they cook it medium! Excuuuuuse me! I kbow the dif between raw and medium! So I still insisted on the corperate number and stated that I never been to upscale restaurant where the "managers" are too busy or defend their screw up! It was clear to me that no one knew ish about fine dinning. He left the table & came back with not the number I was looking for but with a $50 giftcard instead. He apoligized and said if we come back he will wait on us at the bar personally as he used to be a bartendar before getting promoted to a management position! No wonder he was clueless! He was a nice guy but I think he should manage the bar & not an entire restaurant!

Ok the Ultimate Food Critics are in the building!!!! When we eat at NEW places we go BIG! However, we are extremely disappointed with III Forks! Service was good and the servers were very attentive. But the food and the ambiance is lackluster to say the least. The outside provides the illusion of a larger restaurant but once inside the actual dining area is quite small. The live music is dated very "Vegas-like"....think Frank Sinatra in drag. Getting to the food, we thought high-end steakhouse and seafood would be appeasing to our tastebuds, but boy were we WRONG! We ordered the Lobster Poppers for our appetizer@ $6 bucks an oz and the minimum is 11oz. It arrived at our table and looked great. But it ended up as bland, overcooked and dry. Can you say "add seasoning, please!!" For our entrees we ordered the basic Shrimp platter with Chips and a 16oz New York Strip(well-done). Let's just say the entrees were Bland and tasteless. But the steak was cooked to perfection; moist, juicy but bland. The Shrimp was fried like Red Lobster....yuck! The Italian breading on the shrimp was soggy and wet. The chips were fried potato chips with nothing to accommodate the flavor. The wine list appeared to be extensive so if u want wine go there but if you want a meal then go next door to Cantina Laredo. At least the food there has the most important ingredient - "FLAVOR". Sorry III Forks - we won't be back.

I had 2 meals at III Forks over the 4th of July weekend. Both times, we made reservations for an early dinner. We sat with 2 different waiters, and both delivered the same excellent service. I've visited other locations in Dallas, Jacksonville, and Palm Beach, and this one was one of the nicest. I guess it doesn't hurt that it's brand new :). Anyway, we started with a variety of appetizers. I really enjoyed the beef croustades, and the scallops were also very tasty. I would also recommend the seared tuna. A friend that was dining with us ordered it and was in love with it. I had a III Forks salad, which I've had at the other locations. It's probably the best tasting salad on the planet in my opinion. I'm not exactly a salad eater, so that's saying a lot. The wine selection was varied, and the server made some recommendations that worked out well. I started off with their signature martini, which the server said was amazing (and she was right). With our meal, we had a bottle of Paraduxx and followed that up with a delicious bottle of Krupp Brothers Doctor, which I think was a 2006. We ordered a variety of sides, and the 6 cheese potatoes were easily our favorite. We also got sauteed spinach, some mushrooms, and since we had won a few bucks next door at the casino, a fried lobster tail. The lobster was definitely a splurge item, and it was really good. I'm smiling now thinking about it. The steaks that we ordered were all cooked perfectly, and the meal as a whole was great. The first night, one of our friends ordered the Sea Bass, which he was a big fan of. When I get down on this side of town, I will make plans to eat at III Forks again. Thanks also to Tommy and Pete, who were nice enough to come by the table during our meal and chat for a second. We had a great time!

Four of us dined there last night. Service was appalling. Waited over an hour for our food. At one point we were told the food would be out in 5 minutes, but then we waited another 30 minutes!! When it was finally served, they only brought out plates for 3 of us - the fourth had to wait another 10 minutes. One of the salmon plates was cold, inedible. The asparagus ends were not trimmed. My steak was okay, certainly not worth the price ($40) and then the potato was another $9.50. Bathrooms were filthy. Couldn't wait to get out of there, but when we paid, the server was unable to find change - we stood around waiting for another 10 minutes, while the server was trying to get change from other employees!!! Other customers were also complaining about the service. As we left a manager finally came and apologized - surely he should have come to the table LONG before to apologize for the delays? Will never go back.

Went on an impromptu trip to III Forks and was pleasantly surprised. First of all, I hadn't been to Gulfstream in a while and I couldn't believe how nice it looks with all the new bars and restaurants. I think this new development can definitely give the Hard Rock a run for its money. On to the food- I'm a steak snob so I was wary of their lower-than-average prices ($30 for a Filet Mignon). I decided to start with the seafood medley appetizer (shrimp cocktail, crabcake and scallops) which was pretty good, but a little lacking in the taste department. The crab cake did not have much flavor. The scallop and the shrimp cocktail however, were fresh and delicious. For my main course, I had the filet and the six-cheese potatoes on the side. The filet was not the best I've ever had but it was surprisingly tasty. The potatoes were delicious but I couldn't eat more than 2 forkfuls because they're just too cheesy. Cocktails with dinner were nice and strong, service was great and the bread came warm...I'm looking forward to checking out the other places at Gulfstream so I probably won't be back here for a while but I definitely enjoyed my meal.

Wow, had little to no expectations of this place. Ribeye was absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked and seasoned. Sides were great too and our server was great. Actually all the wait staff were great. Will def be back

Typical steakhouse fare. Pretty standard and nothing stand out as far as preparation. We had filet, prime rib, asparagus, 6 cheese potatoes, sliced tuna, mashed potatoes and chocolate cake. Everything was pretty good, nothing that jumped out and punched your taste buds. Service was spotty.

This place is really quite nice looking. But the food is very average. It's july, but the tomato i got in my tomato salad could've been bought in a bad grocery store in january. Inexcusable. And why does every salad have blue cheese in it? Our waitress was a little creepy and easily annoyed by my grandparents, who are very fun & pleasant. (And, really, if you feel weird around the elderly this is not the neighborhood for you.) I got a lobster tail which was perfectly fine. No complaints there.

The food is excellent, the steaks and the 3 forks salad with its walnut oil just delicious. The place is though almost always underbooked. During the week even empty except for a few tables. It is a shame, I wish them to do better, they deserve it.

I wish I could start out with something positive with this review, but from the parking to the bar to the restaurant, about the only thing to take away from this dining experience was the atmosphere and the waiters' courteousness. Started off the evening at the bar, and the inside of the restuarant had a nice ambiance...OK...nice place... The bar didn't appear to be stocked well, and I didn't feel the bartenders were friendly. They weren't rude, but they just seemed to have a ''I have to work, and don't care if you're here'' attitude. Got seated at the table, looked over the menu (everything sounded great BTW) and ordered some appetizers and entrees. They were out of a liquor someone wanted, and it all went downhill from there. The wines were outrageously priced compared to some of the other better restaurants we have been to, and honestly the entree prices seemed to be a little high as we were ordering; then when the entrees actually arrived, I KNEW we had been dupped. The portions were VERY small on the steaks (the prime rib looked like a fillet) . Really the only thing that held it together for us was the waiter. He was pleasant and attentive, but that didn't make up for the dining experience. If it hadn't have been for a birthday celebration I think we would've left the restaurant. It turned out to be a VERY expensive evening for a sub-par meal. I would not return there unless I had heard of BIG changes from friends I trust; there are too many other GREAT restuarants to choose from.

We went there on a Sunday night as recommended by nearby hotel staff. The food was mediocre. The service was good, but the waiter seemed annoyed when we did not make choices he suggested. I would not return to III Forks.

Just finished dinner at 3 forks and although our meal took a very long time to arrive the servers and management went out of their way to make up for the problem. Dinner ( once it finally arrived) was good . The onion soup was particularly excellent . We will definedtly give it another chance and return in the future.

One simply cannot fairly review a restaurant on opening night. We walked into III Forks on it's official opening (after they tested staff and kitchen in the requisite soft opening, of course), and the place was overwhelmed with business. Dishes were poorly executed, they ran out of menu items, service was earnest but poor and management and staff were noticeabaly confused throught the evening; they were working hard to try to pull together, however, and serve their customers and get things done as best that they could that night. This is a handsome, masculine space (it is a steakhouse, after all) and we will return in the future with the expectaion that they will have worked out the kinks. III Forks is located within yards of the Gulf Stream race track, a spot that will undoubtedly help them achieve financial success. We wish them well.

Service, atmosphere and of course the food are awesome. I love the look the of the restaurant, friendly staff that give you pleasant personal attention. When it's 2 of us l like the eating at the bar area but with friends/family they have multiple dinning rooms. Drinks are great too --- definitely worth the bucks.

I tried the location in Dallas and expected the same level of service and quality. Service is amateur. The are better steakhouses in South Florida at this price level. There's still a long way to go for this place to get it right.

On our way through the new Gulf Stream complex, my wife and I decided on lll forks for dinner. In classic South Florida fashion the food was excellent....the service not so much. It was a beautiful restaurant, perfect wine display and great bar. The menus are made of cheap paper, there is a better presentation at Chilis. Seafood medley appetizer of shrimp, crabcake, and bacon wrapped scallop was excellent, as was the sparkling Rose! Now, as a Sommelier, I am extra critical of wine lists, and this screamed of the average Southern Wine & Spirits textbook. But there were a few surprises, we selected a very nice Giogondas that was well priced. The Wedge salad was ok, but the sliced tomato and onion salad was excellent. The NY strip and Filet were tender and PERFECTLY prepared...there is no doubt the Chefs are well trained and consistant. The main problem was the server. He wasn't a kid....at his age you would think some sort of professionalism would find its way to our table. He seemed to fumble a lot, did not know how to decant or even pour wine. That's OK, wow me with menu knowledge...he grasped at straws when questions were asked and he seemed rushed and uncomfortable. The timing of courses was impeccable and impressive. Again, the food was AMAZING and well priced. At last the waiter agained fumbled awkwardly with boxing food, which was done tableside with no tray for some reason. He vaguely glanced as we paid and said "Thanks, have a good nite." Really? This is unacceptable in this neighborhood and all the competition that surrounds it. As we left the hosts were very gracious and lovely thanking us and welcoming us back. I did hear a Manager say to a guest.." How was it? Was it good?" Sorry guys, but at this level get a thesaurus and work on your verbage. Over all I think the bar is the spot to be to enjoy the amazing food. If you can get over the lack of polish and the almost uneasy lack of confidence of the staff. I have to say the music choice was very poor...we actually heard "Its raining Men"...at a Steakhouse....on a Friday night....Really. Not sure who runs the front of the house for this company but they want to rethink that choice.
